By “the Left” I mean straightforwardly the left-wing of the political spectrum - SJWs, “wokies”, media luvvies, antifa, academics, Champagne Socialists, etc.
The Left can never really be done, the way people look at political groups always changes overtime, but The Left in general can never “die out” in any form just as The Right can never truly die out. Both sides exist to temper the extremes and tendencies of the other, and to combine their ideologies to create policies that possess the best characteristics of both parties. In an ideal world anyway.

The collective Left is not ideological. That is why the memory hole works so well with them. And it certainly does not run parallel to the working class. Obviously, it would come because of something to do with Israel's actions against its neighbours. However, I don't think many of us thought that this process could kick off so hard, and so quickly!
Of course, my above summary does not do justice to the complexities of the issue, yet this clash is easily detectable by any close follower of issues facing the West. As we move through this, there will be shuffling within the Left and the Right, until the cards are finally laid out, and when this happens, we will be presented with a new world. For example, the Left would often say, the third world is poor because the first world is rich. MW and many on others are now saying, They're losing, so we're winning. We are not them.
Therefore, we are good.
In any event, to illustrate this we need look no further than the opening paragraph. If we can declare that the British Left - and by extension the Western Left - is done, and it couldn't be more obvious, then the same can be said of the Right. To put it blutnly, the Right and Left (in whatever form) are failed ideologies, intellectually, socially, and morally bankrupt. At a time of unprecedented culture crisis, hoping the Right, or Dissident Right, will save the day is like clinging to an old piece of driftwood in the middle of the ocean during a raging storm. It might keep you alive - for a while, but you're not going to make it to shore. To the extent those of us who value Western Civilzation have a future, it will be in transcending the worn-out, moth-eaten polarization of two failed ideologies, so as to move into a deeper reality and toward a larger freedom. In the 1980s we thought we had completely wiped the hippies and other assorted leftists from the USA. These types had become a joke and had been reduced to wacky TV stereotypes.
We were wrong; they were quietly gathering steam in the universities, and through persuasive articles (which concealed their naked hatred of normal people) on topics such as inhumane treatment of homeless people, or how wasteful the cosmetics industry is—that actually won people over.
Meanwhile, the USA right slid more and more towards evangelicals with various skeletons in their closets, and warmongering.
I wouldn’t count the Left totally out. I just hope it takes a really, really long time for them to recover.
