The Great Replacement as a Crime (VII. The Ten Stages of Genocide)

How much do things align with Stanton's blueprint?

Academic Gregory Stanton devised ten stages to a genocide being rationalised, sign-posted, prepared and conducted. This forms a sort of blueprint which fits various genocides in history. Stanton and others have also recommended measures to arrest a genocide at each stage.

For our purposes, what is interesting is how Stanton’s model does and does not fit the Great Replacement, and how some of the measures against “classical” genocide actually have the opposite effect here. Even the ways of thinking that are encouraged by Stanton’s model set us up to be unable to combat the Great Replacement.

Many of the processes which make it happen are absent from Stanton’s model and completely unconsidered by it, since this is a radically different form of attack upon a group, much more subtle and insidious than genocide even though it has the same end result.

As mentioned, some of the preventatives actually, in our case, accelerate matters. This is because Stanton’s model requires a majority targeting a minority. The preventatives, then, function by curtailing the majority. However, in the real 21st Century West, curtailing the White majority in each country has the effect that it is neutered, hamstrung, weakened… and cannot resist its destruction.

This is a chilling demonstration of how the 20th Century is an inadequate guide to the 21st. We are in drastically different circumstances from a hundred years ago, demographically but also in other important ways - economic, cultural, political, moral, spiritual, technological. The result is that tools designed to prevent disaster in the 20th Century end up enabling it in the 21st.

I would advise first reading the summary of the ten stages in order to avoid confusion, since, at each stage, we will be adapting the factors for a new phenomenon. The Great Replacement simply doesn’t fit Stanton’s model, or where it does, it is in a perverse, “inverse” way.

With some of the ten stages, both the method and the preventative are happening and enable the replacement of the White majority.

This again underlines that, while the Great Replacement could be characterised as a genocide, it does not match any examples from history. We will return to this point in later chapters.

For now, let us go through Stanton’s ten stages and see how, in each case, either the method enables White replacement, or the preventative does, or both do.

1. Classification

METHOD: People are divided into “them and us”.
PREVENTATIVE: Develop universalistic institutions that transcend divisions.

Today, both of these are happening and both enable the Great Replacement.

Simultaneously, White people are demonised and their existence is denied by universalistic notions that claim racial categories are illusory. All of our institutions are simultaneously committed to both anti-whiteness and race-blindness. The presence of universalistic institutions, far from preventing White extinction, facilitates it. The transcending of divisions, far from preventing White extinction, “justifies” it.

What this means is that White people cannot defend themselves or their existence. They simultaneously don’t exist and do exist but with enormous guilt which means they should probably cease to exist, or at least, it wouldn’t be a shame if they did.

However, while this denial/demonisation of White people occurs, the opposites happen for all other races. They exist (sometimes this contradiction is papered over by saying that they “exist” only because White people have racially categorised them into existing) and they are not evil (because they are victims of White people). Notice that both of these serve to “justify” the Great Replacement, because both villainise the White race.

2. Symbolisation

METHOD: (Negative or negatively-intended) symbols may be forced upon members of the target group.
PREVENTATIVE: Legally forbid hate symbols and hate speech.

There is no need for symbols. White people’s skin colour is the mark of their guilt. By being White, they show themselves to carry the legacy of their evil ancestors, to benefit from it in the present, and to contain the potential for it to manifest again in the future.

In addition, laws against “hate speech” weaken White people against other races and prevent them protesting becoming outnumbered by them, since to do so is “hate speech”. (“Why would you even care about becoming outnumbered by other races, unless you were racist…?”) Minorities understand this and goad us about the Great Replacement, and our inability to respond honestly just demoralises us and emboldens them.

3. Discrimination

METHOD: Law or cultural power excludes groups from full civil rights: segregation or apartheid laws, denial of voting rights.
PREVENTATIVE: Pass and enforce laws prohibiting discrimination. Full citizenship and voting rights for all groups.

The target group is the White majority, and the method is precisely the opposite of segregation/apartheid: it is to encourage us to mix with the minorities and to encourage the minorities to move into our areas (or actually house them there by state measures).

Nobody is being denied voting rights, because voting doesn’t matter. However, minorities are allowed to vote as soon as possible after arriving, because they will vote for yet more minorities to arrive. (This is a result of the preventative measure of “full citizenship and voting rights” for all groups - the ancestral majority is gradually out-voted by the newcomers, creating the democratic “consensus” that the regime desires.)

The other preventative is “laws against discrimination”. These are enacted almost solely against the White majority so that we cannot have spaces of our own, cannot protest our displacement and cannot protect our daughters from race-mixing.

4. Dehumanisation

METHOD: Deny the humanity of the target group. Equate those people with animals, vermin, insects, excrement or diseases.
PREVENTATIVE: Leaders should condemn the use of hate speech and make it culturally unacceptable. Leaders who incite genocide should be banned from international travel and have their foreign finances frozen.

White people have been dehumanised “through the back door” using the vehicle of “Whiteness”. As an abstract concept, “Whiteness” can be demonised freely, and this is done every single day by academics, activists and lobbyists. However, once that is done, individual White people, and groups thereof, are inevitably seen as embodiments of “Whiteness” and therefore deserving of attack. It is as if Hitler had demonised “Jewishness” but never “Jews”: the real-world result is exactly the same.

Other vehicles with the same effect include “White privilege”, “White fragility”, “White woman tears” and (since it only harms White men) “toxic masculinity”. All of these serve to dehumanise and degrade White people, and to delegitimise their ownership of their countries.

People draw conclusions from the things they see around them. When minorities see White people being degraded, they naturally assume that White people must be bad, and at any rate, that they are weak and contemptible. When academic departments crow about “decolonising”, that implicitly puts White people into the role of “colonisers”, which indeed we are often called by minorities. We are being framed as the villains of history, uniquely evil and destructive, deserving of obliteration not just out of (subjective) petty revenge but even out of the (objective) altruistic desire for a just world. “Social justice” is starting to mean “no white people”.

As for the preventatives, leaders constantly condemn “hate speech”, but that includes White people asking for their race to survive, and certainly, any organisations formed to advance that goal are crushed, by the government, the judiciary, the media and even “charities”. Once again, a preventative against genocide is an exacerbant for the Great Replacement.

5. Organising

METHOD: Genocide is always organised... Special army units or militias are often trained and armed.
PREVENTATIVE: The UN should impose arms embargoes on governments and citizens of countries involved in genocidal massacres, and create commissions to investigate violations.

This stage is not necessary for the Great Replacement. Ethnic solidarity among minorities means that they are already, in at least the most basic but also most enduring sense, organised.

As for more involved kinds of organising, some people believe weapons are being stockpiled in certain mosques, in readiness.

6. Polarisation

METHOD: Extremists isolate the target group. Its leaders are arrested or murdered. Laws against its members erode their fundamental civil rights and liberties.
PREVENTATIVE: Security protection for moderate leaders or assistance to human rights groups... Coups d’état by extremists should be opposed by international sanctions.

The Great Replacement turns this upside-down. It cannot be prevented by arresting “extremists” because it is not being advanced by “extremists” but by mainstream politicians. It is the very state and its institutions, not some fringe minority, that is facilitating the process.

What’s more, it is the “moderate” leaders who advance it, because the “moderate” option is always to let this catastrophe continue slowly unfolding. The conception of genocide as something done by extremists means that, today, the Great Replacement can be freely done by moderates. There is no failsafe for that contingency, which was entirely ignored by students of genocide in the 20th Century.

As for the polarisation that is happening, it is not a matter of a minority group being targeted and isolated, but of the majority group being disarmed and neutralised, and slowly turned into a minority that can be absorbed (or massacred) without any of the protections afforded to minorities, and indeed in a sense because of those protections afforded to minorities.

However, one parallel that is true here is the arrest of the leaders of the target group. White people who protest the Great Replacement frequently get arrested, interrogated, police raided, debanked, imprisoned, etc. Beatings by antifa are common and are usually not justly punished by the law. When German antifa used hammers to shatter the bones of right-wing people, the judge at their trial said that their motives were “worthy”. When a far-left college professor took a heavy bike lock to a protest and hit people over the head with it, he got probation while his right-wing opponents were hounded for years in the courts. What all of these measures achieve is to frighten other White people into staying silent and staying out of any activism in their group’s defence. This has exactly the same effect as arresting the leaders of a minority group in preparation for a regular genocide: it disintegrates the group’s ability to defend itself.

7. Preparation

METHOD: Mass killing is planned. Victims are identified and separated because of their ethnic or religious identity.
PREVENTATIVE: At this stage, a Genocide Emergency must be declared. Full diplomatic pressure by regional organisations must be invoked, including preparation to intervene to prevent genocide.

This stage is not necessary for the Great Replacement. However, it could easily happen once each White country is sufficiently dominated by a foreign group who decide to wipe out the Whites.

8. Persecution

METHOD: Expropriation, forced displacement, ghettos, concentration camps.
PREVENTATIVE: Direct assistance to victim groups, targeted sanctions against persecutors, mobilisation of humanitarian assistance or intervention, protection of refugees.

This stage is not technically necessary for the Great Replacement, since absorption can occur without violence or murder. But again, it could easily happen once each White country is sufficiently dominated by a foreign group who decide to wipe out the Whites. We see this already in the micro with the nationwide grooming scandal among other crimes: a beleaguered White majority is abused by some non-white minority that, unofficially, has elevated status in law - eg. legal indemnity due to being victims of “racism”, so they are able to get away with appalling racism.

We also see a bizarre inversion of the preventative, “protection of refugees”. Afrikaner who are living under threat of murder in South Africa and seek refugee status abroad are denied it, including in their ancestral countries (Britain and the Netherlands). Even the fact that they are so threatened is obsessively denied by mainstream media all around the West, and for claiming refuge from it they are demonised as free-loaders, liars and racists. When a president decides to grant them sanctuary, he is demonised for it - even though, in all other circumstances, we are supposed to celebrate accepting refugees. Just not when they are White. (It is racist for White people to help other White people.) That this outrageous cruelty towards the Afrikaner can happen at all is a sign of how much White people have already been dehumanised and their right to dignity undermined.

As for the classical methods of persecution - expropriation, forced displacement, etc. - note that the ground for these things is being laid now, should our replacers ever wish to persecute us.

For example, there is the very widespread “belief” that White people cannot be victims of racism. This idea was unknown in the 1990s but is now “received wisdom”. It relies on the idea that racism is “prejudice plus power”, and only White people have power (even while their own societies systematically disempower them). Therefore the 12 year-old White girl being gang-raped by Pakistanis who call her a “white slag” is not a victim of racism. Her family, terrorised into silence by those same Pakistanis, are not victims of racism. Her community, humiliated and dominated by the Pakistani community, are not victims of racism. Only White people can have power, even when other races clearly have power over them and are using it to abuse, terrorise and brutalise them.

What’s more, weakness is a provocation. When a group is made weak (as Whites have been), that invites low-empathy groups to see them as pathetic and deserving of contempt. Thus, the stage is set: the White community that is forced by its state to allow its daughters to be gang-raped today, will be seen as slaughterable tomorrow.

9. Mass killing

PREVENTATIVE: At this stage, only rapid and overwhelming armed intervention can stop genocide. Real safe areas or refugee escape corridors should be established with heavily armed international protection.

Again, the Great Replacement does not require mass killing, but that may occur as a consequence of it and in furtherance of it, once our societies become so ungovernable that non-white groups feel they can act with impunity.

It’s also worth saying that “real safe areas or refugee escape corridors” are exactly what is being eliminated by mass immigration. There will be nowhere for White people to go, no safe areas, no places to call their own, no places where they will not encounter minorities and, eventually, become outnumbered by them. Indeed, this is often stated explicitly as a goal by advocates of mass immigration, since they see it as the only way to prevent White people being racist. (But, if it means White people go extinct, surely the solution is worse than the “problem”?)

10. Denial

METHOD: The perpetrators... deny that they committed any crimes.
PREVENTATIVE: The response to denial is punishment by an international tribunal or national courts.

Staggeringly, the Great Replacement’s version of this denial is being done in advance. The idea is being sown - and told in schools to children - that there isn’t an ethnic group at all (Swedish, Irish, Dutch, etc.). Thus, no extinction can occur - and, from the future’s point-of-view, no extinction did occur. Each group is an amalgamation of previous groups, therefore we have always been “mixed-race” and therefore it is impossible for us to be wiped out. This is like saying that a soup made of ingredients cannot be ruined, and in fact isn’t even altered, by the adding of some other ingredient. Because the soup was made from ingredients, it doesn’t exist? That is absurdly dishonest.

Moreover, every White group’s ownership of its ancestral land is also undermined, again systematically. We - and the minorities who have been brought here to replace and absorb us - are told that the original inhabitants of our lands were not White, and that we all came from Africa anyway, therefore there is nothing to protect, nothing to regret, nothing to empathise with, nothing to feel guilty about for destroying.

All of this is yet more evidence of the dehumanising mentioned earlier, and which is a key element of classical genocide. The target group’s right to existence has to be denied. In our case, it is not our right to existence which is denied, but our actual existence. We do not exist, therefore we cannot be destroyed. But all of this is lies.

Conclusion

These various points illuminate how similar the Great Replacement is to genocide as such, but also how different. It is an unprecedented phenomenon. There is no template, nothing to compare it to.

A genocide, as we tend to think of it, sees a majority turning its resources (including the state) against a hapless minority that has less control over the state and therefore a special vulnerability to the whims of the majority. What we instead have in the modern West is a hapless majority being victimised by its “own” state, its “own” society, its “own” culture. I use inverted commas to make the obvious point that, while these things are theoretically ours, by being primed against us they show that they really are not ours any more, and haven’t been for many decades now. White people have essentially been in an incubator of death since 1945.

What we are seeing, then, is a society that has been turned against its core ethnic group - in fact, many societies that have simultaneously been turned against their core ethnic groups, be they the Italians, the French, the Germans, the Scots, the Canadians, the Americans, etc.

This is something so bizarre, and requiring such coordination and such power, that people have struggled to believe it can be real. But, as the numbers of non-whites swell in our countries, as our towns and streets alter out of recognition, as we feel ourselves dispossessed by our own governments and betrayed by our own police and judiciary, as life as our grandparents knew it becomes impossible, as the life we ourselves used to know becomes hideously distorted or outright replaced with the alien… it is becoming ever easier for ordinary White people to accept the reality, despite it being bizarre.

It is so bizarre that, although it achieves the same result as genocide and uses some of the same methods (if inverted), there is simply no category for this phenomenon, for this crime, in the entirety of human history. Until now, no ruler was ever powerful enough to do this to his own people.
