At time of writing (August 2025) it seems inevitable that the next general election, whenever it happens, will be won by Reform UK and Nigel Farage will become the next Prime Minister of Great Britain, taking over from the appalling Keir Starmer and casually brushing aside the (once mighty but now effectively defunct) Conservative Party.
I expect much the same as you've stated. No one man, organisation, or group, is going to be able to save us, and no one else is coming to save us, certainly not the US of A, who have their own ever increasing problems to deal with, and why would they?
What would others risk their lives or resources on us, if we cannot be bothered to save ourselves, our children and grandchildren? why should and would anyone do such a thing?
To believe otherwise is an act of such utter, onanistic self-delusion, as to warrant committing to and asylum and a padded cell, in order that we don't harm ourselves or anyone else.
I agree out of repeated failure, necessity and existential annihilation, new figures and elites will rise. However, we all need to do our part to ensure that we as a nation, or at least communities can survive our tribulations and trials and emerge ready and able to meet the challenges and necessities that face us all, not only to survive, but to recover and then then prosper and thrive into the future. I remain saddened by the state of Britain, I'm from French-Canada and always held Britain in high regard especially Scotland. I must admit that I fear a Farage premiership will be worse than Keir Starmer's rule.
Nothing I can do except write novels and make audio-dramas to try to cheer up the English, Irish and Scots and try to inspire them to heroics and to glory once more.
Restore are failing Scotland by (a) promising to abolish the Scottish parliament (Rupert Lowe on facebook) and (b) extend s35 of the Scotland Act on the basis of English parliamentary sovereignty over Scotland. This is from Retaking the English Castle: "Restore Britain would repeal the Scottish Hate Crime and Public Order Act (2021) in full. We plan to address the sorry state of free speech across modern Britain in a future paper, but for the purposes of retaking the English (and indeed the Scottish) castle, Parliament should exercise its powers under s. 35 of the Scotland Act (1998) to kill the legislation. This may require an amendment to s. 35 clarifying the right to repeal existing laws alongside the more explicitly stated right to block pending ones. If so, that amendment will be made. Parliament must remain sovereign".
It's an awful act, for the reasons they outline, but this procedure is against Scotland's tradition of sovereignty of the people. It leaves Scotland defenceless against Westminster and the City of London.
I pride myself on being a realist, but Restore seem sincere. All is not lost. The great unknown is how quickly things will unravel in Britain. Where I live, the importing has accelerated. Many normal people are commenting. They will soon despair. I suspect this will be repeated everywhere. Our social masters are accelerating their plans.
Yes we were all rather duped by him I think. I didn't bother to read it as it is all water under the bridge.
I voted for Farage over Brexit and twice I was able to vote for parties he led in general elections and so three times he took my vote and wandered off stage right and did absolutely nothing with it except to inflict Johnson's Blairite Tory party on us for four to five more destructive years. He will never get my vote again and neither shall the Tory Party MKII that he, presently, leads.
One of the members of his present party called a third of the British people Nazis and she should have been booted from the party forthwith but he hasn't done a damn thing about it whereas he was super quick to boot out aspiring MPs that had the temerity to quote the party's manifesto commitment to mass remigration back when Farage was working a bit harder on who he was pretending to be, in manifesto writing at least. The fact he booted them out means his bosses are happy for him to write things in a manifesto provided he then completely refuses to carry them out. Sounds all so tiredly typical of the last 120 years or so of politics in this country since it was captured by Jeffrey's bosses, including Farage's behaviour in wandering off after the Brexit vote. I have joined Restore Britain just as I would have joined Restore Nigeria or Restore Kenya or Restore India or Restore Pakistan had I been any of those people under colonialism (yes, for the smart arses, I know Pakistan never existed as a separate entity back then). Lowe it seems to me is the last chance to avoid the civil war that the civil service is determined we must have for them to put the final nails in the British coffin. The problem with setting a Tiger into the streets in the sure knowledge that you can ride that Tiger is that only a lunatic who has never been held accountable for anything could possibly think that Tiger wasn't going to turn on them. And with the civil service, the BBC, the NHS etc etc etc being stuffed to the gunnels with DEI hires that have NEVER been held accountable you can be sure that these DEI planners are going to fail spectacular spectacular.
On a personal note I always voted for Farage through gritted teeth after the Edinburgh incident. He was chased down the street in Edinburgh by "Scottish louts" I think he called them and had to hide in a pub until the police managed to get him through the baying crowd and away to safety and then it turned out that every single one of the "Scottish louts" were students at Edinburgh University who were English to a man and Pink-haired lunatic cat woman. Farage never apologised for that slur against Scots and it simply goes to show he has no love of the truth ....... he has no honour.
Lowe I think has both. I very much doubt he shall succeed as he does seem rather too hands-off to actually succeed but they do say that God loves a trier so his party gets my vote.
Farage is a bit player. Dear old, naive Rupert Lowe too, I suspect. The bitter truth is that our tragedy has a long way to go before it plays out in a Shakespearian denouement. Too much national self-delusion has taken place for there not to be a terrible reckoning. This is not pessimism but realism. We will win through in the end as a people. But as a folk picking through the devastation after an earthquake. That's when the real heroes will step up. That said, I sincerely believe people like Woes, Martin Selner, Dries Van Langenhove (to name but a few that come to my addled boomer brain!) have already displayed heroic qualities in standing up and being counted when the cost amounted at times to total social ostracism. Brave fellows all - though I suspect you, Woes, will wince at this too public praise! 🌞
He's been so hot and cold on mass deportation that one has little confidence. Mass voluntary deportation could be achieved using purely social and economic measures but would drive business and the NGO complexes nuts, so is bound to fail.
Something you couldn't have factored in earlier is a credible alternative in the form and substance of Restore.
Were people really that surprised by the launch of Restore Britain? Rupert said a while back that he intended to offer a serious alternative.
💯, well said and I think true.

Not good, Scotland's held out against the Great Replacement, to tear down their defences against it is not the answer.

It’s whitepilling to read this in light of the rise of Rupert the Great. Anything can happen.
